The Hunter & Grey’s Wedding experience is unlike any other in Hampshire. Our stylish studio in Shedfield is a hidden gem, filled with a luxurious, unique hire range and elegant and contemporary tailoring to buy. Our aim is to provide a truly special and fun experience for all grooms-to-be, leading up to the moment that that you discover “the one” that you want to get married in. We know that some men can be intimidated by the thought of choosing their wedding outfit but there really is no need! Our professional, friendly stylist will guide you through the process in a private consultation, offering advice and guidance but never forgetting that it is “your” day.
Gone are the days of wedding hire offering two or three colours of poorly fitting Morning Suits. Our personally curated range consists of lightweight cloths in a variety of colours available in slim and tailored fit Morning Suits and Lounge Suits, 100% wool slim fitting tweeds, or more delicate lambswool flannels for an exquisite, vintage feel. This is why we recommend that both parties due to get married attend the initial consultation; it’s only by chatting to both of you that we can get an idea of your personal style, your likes and dislikes and the “feel” of your special day, not to mention the dress, where appropriate.
We spend around fifteen minutes talking about your likes and dislikes and vision for the day before moving on to the fun part – choosing and trying things on! Our aim is to find the outfit that makes the groom-to-be feel confident, an outfit that will make him stand out as the groom, and an outfit that will look fantastic in the photos for years to come. Once we have chosen this outfit we will spend some time deciding how to change the look for the groom’s party. For some parties it can be as subtle as changing a tie or waistcoat, for others it can be a whole different outfit, especially if the groom decides to buy his suit. All in all, we generally spend about an hour on this after the initial chat.
